How It All Started
Two Guys’ Local Bites started as a food truck in fall 2023, founded by Dan and his father-in-law, Mark. Dan—a teacher, professor, and dad—turned his passion for fresh, crowd-pleasing food into a hit across Hudson Valley wineries and breweries. Built on creativity, community, and real ingredients, their bites bring backyard favorites to life.
From Food Truck to Full Kitchen
Our truck hit local wineries and breweries all across the Hudson Valley. People loved the food—and we loved serving it. By June 2024, we saw a chance to grow. A building opened up on NY-145 that used to be a gas station and diner. It was the perfect place to put down roots, right between East Durham and Middleburgh
Local Food with a Purpose
At Two Guys’ Local Bites, quality comes first. From Mark’s homemade chili to the glazed donut bacon cheeseburger, every dish is made with care and local ingredients. Fan favorites like the Hudson Valley Cheesesteak and Hot Honey Bacon Chicken Sandwich keep guests coming back. Their burger was even named one of the best in the Capital Region by the Times Union in 2025.
Meet the Heart Behind the Kitchen
The restaurant is now proudly run by April—Dan’s wife and Mark’s daughter—who left her full-time job in 2024 to manage the daily operations and ensure every guest is met with warmth and great service. With part-time team members Christi and Michael, and a rotating crew of seasonal staff, the atmosphere is as friendly as it is flavorful. Here, guests aren’t just customers—they're family.
